FAQ

Plain questions,
plain answers.

If something here is unclear, the docs go one level deeper, and the source is the final word.

What is Werbo?

Werbo is a smart contract studio for Robinhood Chain. You describe a contract in plain words, the studio drafts a readable Solidity file, you compile and review it in your browser, and you deploy it with a transaction your own wallet signs.

How does Werbo work?

Four steps. Write a brief. The studio drafts Solidity from it (rule-based templates, or an AI model when the site has one configured). You compile with the official solc build running in your browser, read the rule-based security findings and the generated test outline, and edit until you are happy. Then you fill in the constructor arguments and sign the deployment in your wallet.

Which network is Werbo on?

Robinhood Chain mainnet, chain id 4663, with ETH for gas. The wallet dialog adds the network to your wallet when you connect.

How do I buy $WERBO?

$WERBO has not launched yet. Its contract address will be published on the token page and in the site footer at launch, and nowhere else first. Until then any token using the name is not ours.

What is $WERBO for?

Its role in the studio is still being decided and is shown as planned. The studio works fully without holding any token.

Does the studio ever see my private key?

No. Connecting a wallet shares your address. Deployments are transactions the wallet shows you and signs itself. The site has no endpoint that accepts keys, seed phrases or signed transactions.

Is the AI drafting required?

No. Without an AI key on the server the studio drafts from rule-based templates and says so in the brief panel. The same brief always gives the same file. When the operator adds a key, briefs can also go to an AI model; the source you send with a change request is the only thing that leaves your browser.

Where is my work saved?

In this browser's local storage. There are no accounts. The Your work page exports every project to a JSON file and imports it on another device.

What do the security findings mean?

They are pattern checks on your source: tx.origin used for permissions, unchecked low-level calls, state written after an external call, constructors that read msg.sender, and more. Each one points at a line and says what to change. A clean result means none of these patterns showed up. It is not proof that a contract is safe.

What does the press record?

WerboPress deploys your contract with CREATE2 and records who deployed it, the hash of the creation code, the hash of the code left on chain and the source hash you declared. Anyone can hash a source file and compare. Until the press is deployed, the studio deploys directly from your wallet and nothing is recorded.

Which compiler does the studio use?

Solidity 0.8.28, the official WebAssembly build from binaries.soliditylang.org. Your browser checks its SHA-256 against the published value before running it.

What does it cost?

The studio is free to use. Deploying costs the network gas for your transaction, paid from your wallet in ETH. The press takes no fee.
